Harumph.  I just got home after sitting for two and a half hours without moving on the ENTRANCE RAMP to the express right outside work -- an hour's drive from my home.  This week is getting shittier and shittier.

On the upside, the doc perscribed new anti-depressants today, something I'll need after yesterday's results, and the drama of getting to the polls to find out the secretary of state in michigan never transferred my registration from ohio -- even though I did it, in person, at the S.O.S. office when I got my license in EARLY SEPTEMBER.

Grr.

I used to write these journals in secret code
encrypt the stories of my days in abstruse poems....

I tried to do my 23rd post, 5th line thing, and there are a few problems with it.  1)  I've taken down a couple of the older entries, winnowed out all but the ones that felt like they would be the most relevant to me as time goes on.
2) My 23rd entry at present only has four lines.  (Unless I count a blank line break).  So, in it's entirety:

the search is so exhausting
i get tired of just looking

this beauty, it comes on too strong
and it simply overwhelms me

Hrm.  What a marvelously wasted three day weekend.  I didn't do much but sleep, play Final Fantasy, and read-- a little.  I did get massive quantities of laundry done, spend a few hours at the gym, and work my way through several episodes of Angel as well, so it wasn't a total weekend of sloth.

Now I'm getting ready to head back into work, and this is making me very sad.  The next three days have high potential for high drama level, as with two new employees starting soon, I've decided that I am going to start drawing the line on people following standard process and sticking to basic client management principles (final sign-off is final sign-off).  The first big showdown will likely come this morning.

Fun, fun.

Okay computer geeks.  I have the itch.  I can't believe I've resisted it this long, but I'm sick of my case, and my processor, etc.

Can anyone tell me if they think this is a good deal?

I didn't need a soul anyways.  What's a soul good for, when you could have your own license of FFXI?  And a new video card?

(Although I did accidentally buy an AGP instead of a PCI, resulting in a total of 3 different trips to best buy in the space of two hours.  Doh!  Good thing it's right around the block.  Installing, now....)
